Our focus as Healing Arts Practitioners is to deepen our connection with ourselves by keeping an open heart and mind; to be vessels for the healing energy moving through us, benefitting those we touch and ourselves.

I practice a combination of Deep Tissue Swedish and Thai styles. Deep Tissue is a technique used to treat musculoskeletal issues, with sustained pressure and slow deep strokes targeting inner layers of muscles and connective tissues, thus helping to break up scar tissue following and injury and reducing tension. Thai massage uses gentle pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body. The client, in loose clothing, lays on the floor and participates more actively than with table massage. Thai massage relieves stress, boosts energy, stimulates circulation and improves range of motion.

I graduated from Pacific School of Massage and Healing Arts in 1990, then completed levels One through Six of Transformational Body Work seminars with Fred and Cheryl Mitouer from 1992–2008. As well as teacher assistant with TBW, from 2002—2008. I continue to work with, and on both Fred and Cheryl.

I also completed a comprehensive course at the Philo School of Herbal Energitics under the guidance of Mary Pat Palmer, which dovetails with my own life long studies of herbal medicine. For years now I’ve incorporated hand made herbal Salves and Oils, most of which I grow, to suit my clients needs.

Most recently, in September 2024, I rounded out my portfolio with an intensive course at Spirit Winds Thai Massage levels 1&2 with Janice Gagnon.

The education continues. Always “staying in the question” as we work.
