Qigong

Qigong is an ancient mind-body-health-spirit practice that developed in China over the past 8,000 years. Qigong (also called Qi Gong, Chi Kung, or Chi Gung) is a practice using coordinated movements, mind, breath, relaxation techniques, and “Qi “ (pure life-force energy) to effect positive changes in the body. If you are familiar with acupuncture and flow of energy/Qi in the meridians, Qigong works similarly on clearing blockages in acupuncture meridians, as well as increasing the amount of Qi in the body, balancing and harmonizing the organs, clearing the mind, and purifying the heart/emotional system.

Peer-reviewed research, published by the National Institutes of Health, shows positive benefits to health and/or improved quality of life for people facing conditions such as anxiety, high blood pressure, cancer, immune function, and even bone density.*  Renowned cancer hospitals Sloan Kettering and MD Anderson (as well as Kaiser and Bay Area hospitals) have ongoing Qigong programs to assist in benefiting the quality of life of their patients.

Yuan Gong (also called Yuan Qigong) is a Qigong system developed for the 21st Century specifically to bring vastly more Qi into the body, in a safer, more effective, and efficient way. The practice is designed to be flexible, and enjoyable, whilst bringing positive changes to our health, sense of wellbeing and potentially profound change to life as a whole—our own, our family’s, our community’s, our world’s!

Yuan Gong practice is an opportunity to shift one’s focus from the external world to the internal. Consistent practice deepens and strengthens our relationship with our own inherent, internal calm, a place of infinite resources from we can draw when external challenges arise.

Ren Xue practice is a life-cultivation system using the heart qualities of Trust, Openness, Love, Gratitude, and Gongjing (True Respect and Humility) to develop a calmer, more relaxed and unified approach to life. Ren Xue culls and synthesizes modern science and psychology with Taoist, Confucian, and Buddhist thought, making it pertinent and applicable to our intention for a happier and healthier life and planet.

Using Yuan Gong and Ren Xue in daily life allows us to shift long-held unhealthy patterns of behavior and thought to healthier ones. The practices also allow us to feel a deep unification within ourselves, our bodies, our energy/Qi and a complete merging with the energy/Qi of the Universe. An experience of Oneness arises, simply, easily, and whenever and wherever we are…without the need of anything other than what is already inside of us!
