From acupuncture to chiropractic, homeopathy to therapeutic facials and far infrafred therapy, “alternative healing” encompasses numerous types of treatments available on the coast. Some are alternate forms of medical care that may include physical treatments as well as prescriptions of herbs or remedies to promote well-being in the mind-body (acupuncture, homeopathy, Ayurveda), some manipulate the physical body directly (chiropractic, therapeutic facials), and others may work indirectly or subtly on our well-being (aromatherapy, far infrared)
